And then shit got weird

It's been at least, what, February and most of March since I updated?  I'm sorry, around the, what, first part of February shit got weird,  Before that we were stuck in Winter Curse land and I was too cranky ass to worry about it.  After that we were still in Winter Curse land and...

Let me put it this way:  I'm still married.  Even *that* was touch and go for a while.

Note to husbands, when you have something big to tell your wife, even if you think it's the most awesome thing EVAR!! wait until you have a steady income coming in.  They might not have your Aloha attitude and might be making a lot more sacrifices than you realize and might be vastly more stressed than you are.  And remember, if it affects you it affect her.  You may not be able to see that it does, just go with it.  It does.

And no I am not going to share.  His personal details don't belong on my blog.

Anyway, the big deal over the past six weeks or so have been us working it out.  That's kind of consumed 80% of everything.  But we have, or at least we've reached a balanced point for now.  He's in therapy to deal with his end, I'm looking for a therapist to deal with my end, and in the mean time I'm trying to treat it as a fun thing and not think about it too deeply.

And on top of that he went out and got himself a full time job.  Yay!  Which comes with a steady, reliable paycheck.  YAY!!! One that doesn't leave us a lot of leeway for extras.  Boo.  But at least all the basics will be comfortably covered and he can keep his old job at the same time, working the off hours.  Any money they kick our way goes to savings and then fun.  So it should work.  The Winter Curse has come off with the cherry blossoms once again.

The huge thing is that his new job is at the nearby uni, which gives us access to the community garden.  Details next week, but this is awesome!

I've been writing, more or less, and knitting on the Ugly Car Blanket, since garter stitch is soothing, and trying to sort out dieting and scheduling and such without someone home.  I got used to him home all day and change takes me a while.  But I think it's sorting out at last.

After all, I'm blogging again.

Okay, next week with pictures.  In the mean time, Happy spring!
